I've always wanted an 11.5" SBR but I could never find a barrel I wanted and then the whole rush hit so I always used 10.5" barrels. Well I decided to give a piston gun a try and I wanted to build it in a configuration where I would see the most benifits so I made it a SBR that will be suppressed.

I'm waiting on good ole BATFE so I can take posession of my M42000

After putting everything together there was a glaring problem

I was not about to remove the brake every time I wanted to maintain the piston soooo.... what does a normal person do?

whip out the dremel and free hand a relief cut

turns out aggie engineering does work sometimes

Build is as follows

BCM A3 upper
BCM 11.5 barrel
Adams Arms piston kit
Adams Arms 1 piece carrier
Larue bolt
DD 9.5 FSP lite rail
Geissele SSA trigger

But the fugger is louddddddd

on the very first shot, the blast turned my sordins off and I go "oh shit, I just went deaf." "then I realized my muffs turned off"

That is a great build. I am looking at the exact same build, minus the AAC. I am going with the GemTech G5. Very nice!!!!

What made you go with the comp over the flash hider?

Do the PMAGs drop free with your SA lower? They don't with mine.

Probably because he's going to be putting an AAC can on it.

like he said, I got the brake since I hear they act like an additional blast baffle.

And the PMAGs wouldn't even start to go in, but I sent my lowers back and they work fine now

You did that relief cut free hand? Holy Cow that is even ! ! ! Also what do you think of the AA piston? I have one of their kits waiting to build up.

So There I Was...

Blob,
I had several Superior lowers that Pmags wouldn't fit in. If you contact them, they will fix them all up quickly....now they work fine.
