View Full Version : LMT and the MILITARY?
Hello I was wondering what exactly does LMT supply to our military as a contractor?
Thanks
Crane buys a lot of stuff from LMT. Uppers (mk18), stocks (LMT SOPMOD) etc...

Rear sight,
M203
SOPMOD stocks
Mk18 uppers
14.5" uppers
probably a bunch of other stuff.
Would anyone know if their current military supplied uppers are also marked with the etched LMT logo?
Just their civilian sale stuff.

If I’m not mistaken, CRANE licensed the stock to LMT to manufacturer and buy back and a silly low cost. The patent belongs to the US NAVY for the stock.

LMT supplies the guys that need it. And, Karl has been most responsive to RDT&E request... a quick look at his public catalog will give you an idea
I picked up a LMT lower today its really nice with zero rattle in the standard collapasble stock. This is the first time I have ever seen this in the dozens of issue weapons and my own its kinda nice not to have to stuff cardboard into the stock to shut her up :)
