Hey guys, I have a Colt Tac Carbine that I have been running for 3-4 years now. It has been through a few carbine classes and is shot every weekend with a lot of full auto and 22 conversion shooting. I am thinking about changing the barrel to a lightweight profile. I know that won't be as optimal for full-auto, but I am OK with that (I have other uppers for that anyway).
So, I was thinking about putting a lightweight barrel. Who makes a good lightweight barrel in the shortest non-NFA length possible (including a pinned flash hider if necessary)?
GHB
Would a 6521 pencil barrel work?

It would I am sure. But where to buy?

I have seen a few posted from time to time... I don't know about these guys, maybe you could research their quality.

Hmm, and CMMG makes this, a 14.5 with perm flash hider....

forgive me if this info isn't what you need, i'm certainly no expert, but....
isn't BCM coming out with a lightweight 16in middy soon?

I believe CMMG discontinued their 14.5" midlength lightweight, but I have one and really like it.....weights 19.8 ounces stripped. Plenty accurate.
