Obama plays more golf than former President Bush (http://www.politico.com/click/stories/0910/obama_ties_bush_on_golf.html) while more good men die in Afghanistan. (http://apnews.myway.com/article/20091026/D9BIP72G0.html)

But hey, who wants to think about Afghanistan when your having fun?

I'm sure Michael Moore will lampoon Obama, using this golf tidbit against him, in his next movie.

Or not.

Being the President is not Obama's job, it is not a duty, it is his "reward" and his "birthright".

President Reagan = Commander in Chief Reagan

President Obama = King Obama

Sad times, especially the hypocrisy that is so prevalent these days. They shit on my President for 8 years, in terrible ways. Today if I put one anti-obammie sticker on my car I am sure my windows will be broken out. If I fought the guys who broke my window, I would be on the news that night as "Right wing nazi extremist commits hate crime on underprivileged peaceful protesters"

I hope that as things get worse, they won't go to much further down before rising back up. I also hope that nothing monumentally shitty will occur due to this guy.

A comparison like this is meaningless.

Maybe this shows that Obama likes golf more than Bush? For example, I bet Bush spent more time mountain biking than Obama has so far.

Either way, I don't think this is particularly indicative of "sad times".

Don't forget nobama's wednesday court:

All the court intellectuals and jesters come to pay obeisance.

I'd actually prefer he play golf than play President.

The less he does about important things like Afghanistan, the better. Those guys are just on their own for awhile in the best case scenario.

Comparing how much golf Obama is playing with Bush forces the comparison of how each handled the war and implies that somehow Obama is mismanaging the war while Bush must have been busy supporting our troops.

The implications is that Bush wasn't playing so much golf and he must have been doing something right! Even though Bush didn't play as much golf as Obama, he certainly broke the record for most vacation days taken by a President *ever*.

Regardless of my political leanings, I think this is a misleading comparison that causes people to jump to silly conclusions.
