Looking for opinions and feedback on the PWS DC-10 and Diablo.

Anyone have any trigger time with either. I really like the way my Long stroke XCR shoots compared to my short stroke LWRC.

Does the PWS piston feel much different than other piston designs?

i love my diablo. runs really smooth, the long stroke is great. i want a XCR also, glad you like it. i have only shot the diablo in pistol mode, still waiting on SBR stamp. i say go for it.

Any sign of carrier tilt? I would love to see an AAR from a range day with 1k or more, including a breakdown showing parts wear.

haven't had a chance to shoot a lot. shot around 400 rounds now, no problems, no signs of wear. the 1-piece bolt carrier with gas piston is doing a great job of preventing carrier tilt. i cant speak for other piston designs but the long stroke diablo is a great design in my opinion. but time will tell, i will keep you updated.

I may be accused of trying to resurrect the dead here, but I thought I'd give this a bump with the cardiac paddles anyway... :D

Any further comments on the PWS piston upper, foxjordan? Do you still own it?

yes i still have it and i have added to the collection. no signs of tilt or abnormal wear. i now have the Diablo in 5.56 and 7.62x39. i dont keep track of round count but i would say around 7,000 rounds on my 5.56 and 3,000 on my 7.62x39 both run great. im running the 7.62x39 with a AAC 7.62sd suppressor and it is 100%. very quiet outdoors. i have had no problems with either upper except for a couple older c-products mags that would jam, and stuck wolf cases every now and then in the 7.62. but with the newer c mags i have no problems. i now have a PWS 12.5 upper on order that i will run an AAC SPR-M4 on when the stamp comes in. cant say enough great stuff about PWS products and their customer service.
