I need a relatively inexpensive, readily available, preferably Kydex, IWB with a clip (not a loop) for a Glock 19.

I found the Fist #K9 IWB rounded front interchangeable holster (http://www.fist-inc.com/holsters/k1/K9.htm) which looks like it might fit the bill if they have any stock.

Anyone have/use one of these and have an opinion? Any alternatives I should be looking at?

A possible alternative in the JS IWB (http://armory.jsholsters.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=2060)?

Comp-tac makes an IWB holster called the infidel that comes with your choice of attachment options including belt clips.

They have a good turnaround time and I don't consider them to be expensive but I do consider them to be of a much higher quality than the fist holster.

look at the malabar front web site. I run their raven holster and have had no complaints.

Sidearmor (http://www.sidearmor.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=5_9) might be a good option. They have J-hooks and a shirt tucker style loop thing.

I like my Raven very much, but I'm looking for something more compact and less expensive. Ideally I'd like something under $50 including hardware.

This isn't for an EDC holster.

Anybody try the Galco Triton (http://www.lapolicegear.com/galco-triton-iwb-holster.html)?

I wonder if Rich at CCC would whip something like this up there was enough demand for this type of product? I really like his Looper holster, but you specified no loop :( Wouldn't hurt to ask. His prices are pretty good for standard production items and turn around is great when his day job doesn't interfere.

I used a Comp-tac Infidel quite a bit for a Glock 19. I need to get one for my compact M&P.
That Galco triton looks an awful lot like an Infidel.

I asked once and he said "no".

Bummer! That has been my favorite IWB kydex holster so far and I'd like to be able to wear different belts with it, I'm stuck with 1.25" belts for now.

I have a FIST #1K Ultra thin Kydex. Though a different model than the one you are considering, I must say that the Kydex profile offered by FIST is absolutely the thinnest and lightest I have ever seen. I also own a Comp-Tac and recognize their quality... but there is no comparison in comfort or concealment...

I have the same tuckable one. They are very thin and slick holsters. great fro appendix carry.

I have two of the Fist adjustable cant IWB holsters; one for my P7 and one for my G26. I like it a lot. It's reasonably priced and quite comfortable. Being able to adjust the cant and switch the belt attachments is nice. The kydex is super thin, which I like. I carry my G26 in this holster daily. I'm currently using a belt loop attachment, but I also have the split j-hook attachment; this attachment makes it easy to put on and remove your weapon without having to undo your belt. When locked around a belt loop as in the picture you posted, the split j-hook holds the holster very securely. When it's not on a belt loop it can come unhooked on its own, especially when the belt is undone; my P7 once hit the floor in a (fortunately empty) rest area on I-95 because of this. Just lock it on a belt loop if possible when using the split j-hook.

Overall I like and would recommend the Fist holster. Tough to beat for the money IMO.

Anyone know of other vendors for Fist that might have slightly better pricing? Or what the availability is like?

I'm tempted by that Galco as much for the price as the fact that I'm sure I can find a vendor that has one in stock for the G19.

Rob:

I used one of these (see link) to carry my 1911 for about 2 years of EDC and one 2 day class until the body protector portion of the holster started to crack which made it quite uncomfortable to wear. It was at this point that I DX'd it for a Blade Tech IWB. I like the BT because it seems more durable but I will always long for the comfort and low profile of the thin kydex used by Fist. I can't tell from the pics if the holster you're looking at has the "body protector" on it or if you're ordering the ultra thin kydex, but that may be a weak point worth considering, though I can vouch for Fist's overall quality. I understand that this will not be a heavy use holster.

I'm a little late to this thread but I've got a handful of the FIST #1K for Glocks, 1911s, and a 92F and I'm a big fan of them. I've used then thin and ultra thin and like the thin better. $35 a copy or so from FIST. My oldest one, for a G19 was 5-6 years old before it started to crack a little from me forcing it to carry a G34. Actually I'm wearing that very holster now. I like the straight drop for it's versatility for appendix or hip carry.
