+1 Bump, im semi-interested in this as well.
kinda OT for this thread- but is that a factory color on the M&P?
I have not had any experience with them.. But I have been reading up on that
brand and they are supposed to be a very good quality, accurate barrel for a
relatively inexpensive price.. I'll probably purchase on for my new M&P45 once the
papers go though.. Direct from them it is $225 with the thread protector. Probably
does not help you much but I tried :)

Bump, if I may. I've finally decided to get an M&P 45 and trust that the Apex sear will fix the trigger (I love my G19 reset and hate the M&P, but I'm trusting the advice of others here). The one thing I can't find is any decent info on a threaded barrel for the M&P. I mean, if the best .45 ACP pistols on the market are this and the HK45, why can't I find info on a barrel for a suppressor? It would be a natural thing for the slow moving .45, right?
If anybody has a suggestion other than Storm Lake, or if I should have searched in NFA rather than Handguns (how I found this thread) please let me know. Thanks!
