When: November 21st!
Time: 8:30am sign in - 9:00am first shots
Where: Pima Pistol Club

Specialized instructions for the November match:
120 rounds total rifle rounds allowed
45 rounds total pistol rounds allowed

This means you're only allotted those rounds for the entire match. You need to carry all your ammo with you on your person the entire match. You may carry less, if you wish, but what you start with is what you end with.

ROs will go through each squad to ensure that's the case.

This match will be designed to push you to your ammo conservation limits, with no resupply.

If you do run out, you can re-equip at the expense of a penalty per round of resupply. (We wouldn't want to prevent you from finishing the match!) In other words, bring more than we stated above just in case, but don't expect to win if you land up having to go for resupply.

These rounds can be carried on your person throughout the day however you see fit. 4 30 round rifle mags and 3 15 round pistol mags would be fine. All the ammo loose in a bag would be fine, etc. If your pistol mags hold more than 15 each and you want to fill them up, that's fine, but it's still a 45 round total allocation in whatever aggregate storage methodology you employ.

Is it possible that someone might try to cheat? Yes. We think that the sorts of people we get at ACTS won't, and we don't think you will. This is going to be mostly on scout's honor, but we will do some basic checking to ensure this is "enforced".

Hope to see you there!

That sounds like an excellent idea for a match.

The Resupply penalties will be 5 seconds per rifle round, and 1 second per pistol round...

Be advised:

The 21st is also the El Tour de Tucson weekend. El Tour de Tucson is a 109 mile bicycle ride around the perimeter of Tucson. The route this year uses parts of Tangerine Road and parts of Oracle Road. Typically, traffic is slowed significantly and several lanes of these roads will be blocked off. A detailed map, including approximate times when riders will be in the area, can be found here. (http://www.perimeterbicycling.com/!ETT/2009_ETT_Route_map.pdf)

Please plan accordingly, as we will still start the match walk-through precisely at 9:00am.
