I have been given a rifle (Remington 742 in 30-06) which has a Redfield scope on it. The mount and rings have a cross hairs with R in the middle emblem on them, so I assume they are Redfield also. I've done some minor shooting with it, but would like to maximize the rifle's ability, so should I keep this setup or get a new one? I'll post some pics soon to help, I know my info is a little vague, so sorry.
