Has anyone seen any of the G21SF's with the standard Glock rail? The only ones I have seen so far have the 1913 rail. I want one with the standard rail, but I have yet to find one.

Yep, like the rest of us. I'm not interested in the new rail unless all the standard G21 holsters are compatible.

Hopefully Gaston realizes most of us are waiting for the standard rail model and gets them on the market ASAP. I'm lusting after one, but I have decided I'm going to wait it out until they release the version I want.

That is the 1913 rail. I am looking for the one with the standard Glock rail on the dust cover.

Sorry,
Had to put this pic up.
I just traded a G21 for a G19 b/c I finally got my CCW permit,
I may need to pick up a G21SF,
Esp if I can get my three old G21 mags to work in it.

My bad - misunderstood. Still, I seem to recall someone else posting photos of their G21SF with the standard rail. Here is the link:http://www.glocktalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=667174

It may not be "his"... he hasn't answered that question in the thread yet.

I am pretty sure old G21 mags will not work in the SF. All new G21 mags will work in both guns.

Yes!!! That is what Daddy wants... When and where can I get one? I haven't found anyone with an answer yet. Damn you Gaston!!! I thought the G37 was going to be a 1911 sized G36, and now this.

I got to handle a pic. railed one today. Very very nice. I like it. Not sure if I care for the picatinney rails though over the standard one. Still undecided on that.

So is the major benefit of the 1913 rail is it will fit any other EQ you have that mounts on all the AR rails, or am I missing something.

That is my guess too, but as long as the rail will hold a Streamlight or Surefire light I'm GTG. Personally, I am much more concerned with holster compatability.

Me to, I just got rid of a
3rd gen G21 for my G19, so It has to fit my old holsters.

Got to handle one Sat at a local range,
I liked it a lot, I am just waiting on the traditional rail.

Glock always seems to be so out of touch with what their customers want. I think most of us are waiting on the standard rail model. This pistol, or a full size G36 are what the G37 should have been. How many years have they wasted?

If they could get an 8+ round single stack .45 in a slim frame like the G36 but as thin as a G17 or thinner I would CC one of those versus my G19.

We can dream can't we...:)

I know... I have been lusting after a full size single stack ACP Glock for a while now.

Had this thought at lunch today,

Maybe now CT will have to design a new LG for the SF also...

Can you say G20SF if the G21SF sells well.

I still want to know if I can remove the ambi-sefaty for a RH only...lol...

I have heard there will be a G20SF, but I hope we see the standard rail 21 first.

FYI for whoever asked about the mags...

The G21SF mags will work in both the SF and the old 21 (both types of cutout)
The old 21 mags DO NOT work in the new G21SF (no front cutout)

For what it is worth the Glock Rep I talked to on Saturday didn't know anything about a G20SF, but admitted that it would only make sense. He did say the standard rail G21SF's should hit dealers' shelves in April. He had a standard rail G21SF with him, which I got a chance to shoot. So, they do exist.

I handled one the other day. The grip felt fantastic next to the G21 that was on my hip at the time.

Id take one with a standard rail, but Im really not getting the warm and fuzzies off the ambi magazine release.
