These pouches have been mounted on my plate carrier once and removed once, otherwise are not used. I modified them slightly by removing the flap that was supposed to hold the magazines in place. I removed them because they weren't long enough to work with Wilson Combat 47D magazines. The FB pouches securely hold magazines in place even without the retention flap.
