What part of the Orlando area?

I'm in Tampa and this area's problem is finding a public range that will allow this type of training. I'd be interested in joining in.

your closest bet might be Hernando Sportsmans, but unless you live in New Port Richey, Lutz or Land O Lakes, it can be a haul for most.

CM, be sure to post this on ar15.com and floridashootersnetwork.com if you haven't already. The original FDCC members are all very active in the Florida Hometown forum on arf.

Also, if you can put together an announcement with the link you put above to the range etc. I'll send it out to my members to see if they can forward to anyone they know in that part of the state.

coming out Saturday to meet Sean and take a tour, probably joining, waiting on my tax stamp and I will do the carbine course, looks like you guys are putting up a first rate facility.

Well, it appears that the folks who attended our first shoot really enjoyed it. So, we're having a second shoot, which is now scheduled for Sunday, January 24th 2010. It's going to be in the morning and we'll update this thread with the exact time once we nail it down.

I will be getting with you guys, I need some help and education, I am carbine less at the moment untill my stamp comes. I have never been too any carbine classes so it will be all new to me, I plan on walking and being safe and slow my first few times, with my ears open and mouth shut.
