The pics in this post are personal guns that mean a lot to me. I spent 1 year getting the slide for the 1911 project and about 9 months on the build. The 625 is one of my favorite gun to run so to find a 3 inch to get started on was a 6 month journey. http://i807.photobucket.com/albums/yy358/SuperiorFirearms/heinie%20rear%20sight/12-12-2007-12.jpg

Mr. Smith,

Whose gold bead front sights do you have mounted on your revolver and pistol? Are they the SDM units or something else?

Mr. Smith,

Thanks for the info. I have a 4" 625 Mountain Gun in .45 ACP that I'm going to order an SDM for. Those are great revolvers and mine has accounted for four Texas whitetails in the past two years, all one shot kills.

Just for your info the factory front sight on your gun is probably 275 thousands tall SDM only has 250-300 thousands so just choose wisely. For us it is usually 250 thousands on 4 inch 625 in ACP.
