Had a Colt HBAR that I traded away for an M1 Garand and cash, always wanted a Garand. I bought that rifle as is.

traded away this

So I decided I wanted to build one I got an Anvil Arms lower that sat in the gun safe for about a year. Got it out recently and decided to get it some company. Got a LPK (DPMS) and stock (BCM). Put those on and figured I wait for a nice used upper.

Well I got a few 30 cal cans of loaded LC brass with H335 and Hornady FMJ's, as I kept all my loaded ammo and reloading dies. Kept hearing that ammo moan out "shoot me". So I obliged and ordered a Stag Arms 2H upper (http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/Stag-Arms-16-M4-Upper-Receiver-Group-p/stag%20m4%2016%20urg.htm). That arrived in Friday and took it out today and function tested then ran about 150 rounds thru it with out a problem. I am very happy with it.

I have a Leupold 4X scope that I used on my Colt. I mounted it on the carry handle. I am looking for help figuring out how I and mount the scope on. I would like something that I can out on and take off in the field with out a lotta work. Suggestions with links would be greatly appreciated. I am newbie with AR's.

Thanks
CM

Look around here (on the link, that is), LaRue has a lot of good stuff. All quick detach.

Thats the link I was going to suggest....

Look around, google LaRue and look around on the forums and you'll see a few of these around:

thanks guys ~ most of the Larue stuff is just out of my price range. I found a few mounts on Brownells ~ I like this mount (http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/sid=21088/pid=8722/sku/Flattop_Scope_Mount__1_)
