New Sights

I was logging into my school's website today and I saw this:

So I wanted to know what you guys thought about the sights, are they practical? Would you purchase a hand gun with these and lastly are they "improved"?

Anyother imput would be great too :D

I guess I was expecting something more radical than having the inside of the rear sights be angled inwards. Given that the shooter is not supposed to focus on the rear sights, it's hard to see how that subtle difference will offer much (if any improvement).

Underwhelmed. Based on the link, that setup seems to have been done already on the Steyr M pistols. I actually liked the sight setup while I had the Steyr S9, but I don't think it is really that new.
