Pics of the Scout with a Vortex flash hider, Aimpoint and PVS-14. I have since replaced the ARMS #29 mount with the GG&G PVS mount as it sit slightly lower toweards the axis of the bore.

Any issues with the recoil on the 308 damaging the PVS-14? I know the military has seen problems with PVS-17s not handling the recoil well when mouted to M240s.

I have not had any problems as I have only put a few rounds through the Scout with the PVS attached. I will try for some pics this weekend if it get dark. There is a new moon soon and that would be te best time.

The Vortex eliminates almost all flash which is a good thing at night! I mounted a Vortex on my Barrett 468 and while I run a ACOG on it currently, I plan to acquire a Eotech and a LaRue mount so I can run the PVS on it as well. After katrina, I want the ability to see in the dark in case of a major power failure. You just never know.........
