I am just wondering if what kind of gas tubes are used with 11.5 inch sbr's?

gas length determines gas tube length- barrel length correlates, but doesn't necessarily dictate. but i'm pretty sure just about every 11.5 on earth uses a carbine length gas tube.

So this means the sbr's uses carbine length hand guards too?

just about every SBR on the market, excluding mid-length 14.5s, uses a carbine gas system... 7.5" gas port/9.75" gas tube/7" handguards. VSBRs, or "very short barreled rifles," with 7" barrels, use like 4.5" gas ports and corresponding parts or some shit. but 10.5"-14.5" carbine SBRs all use carbine gas ports, gas tubes, and handguards.

unless you have a low-profile setup and are using free-floating hanguards- then you can use basically whatever length you want.
