Is it legal to own a LE only rifle if you are not a LEO?

LEO markings do not make the rifle illegal for civilians to own. If the rifle is legal to own in your state then you are generally good to go.

What about it makes it LE? Just marked that way? SBR? Fully auto? If you're looking at an otherwise legal rifle that is simply stamped LE only, you're good to go. My first LMT was purchased back when they were only selling to LE/Mil. That same rifle with the same LE only stamp is being sold to civilians by LMT right now.
