3) Eagle Chest Rig, Universal/SKD Version
Due to the high demand for the excellent Eagle Universal Chest Rig, designed by Paul Howe, we contacted Eagle to create a custom modification for us in early 2005. The plan was simple- remove the very user-specific MBITR pouches and put 4 rows of modular PALS webbing instead. This modification extended the reach of this excellent design to users who do not use the MBITR radio, and allowed for additional flexibility.
Carries up to 8 M4 magazines, 4 pistol magazines, and other essentials. This rig also features a storage and mag compartment, grommets on all pouches, and fully adjustable retention flaps on the outer pouches, making it ideal for a pistol holster. Each pouch will hold 1x M14 magazine, or 1x AK-47 magazine. (description from SKD Tactical).
