Help with new Eotech 512.A65

I just picked up a colt 6940 on sat and mounted the new Eotech to it. The instructions stated to locate the locking bar on bottom of site and use included allan wrenches to install. The box came with an allan screw and 2 wrenches. I must be missing something. The locking bar actually has a hand knob attached to it with a flathead grove cut into it. Im guessing that it it fine to use in this configuration??? Am I missing something? Thank you

You should be able to remove the thumbscrew and replace it with the allen screw if you prefer it that way. They include both to leave the choice to you.

Thank you, thats what I was hoping. I wonder why that wasn't even mentioned in the instructions. I kinda feared that it was a repackaged used unit.
