Three questions:
1. I have a Colt Defense rifle with has an integral web style block solid with lower receiver. Can I replace the half circle carrier the rifle came with with a M16 type BCG or will the block preclude this?
Searched on posts and all I can find is the info on the pinned in block that protrudes higher in the frame. Understand the half circle carrier contributes to bolt bounce and damage to firing pin and premature wear of the internals, so would like to replace it if possible.
2. Will I need to replace the bolt as well when I install the new carrier or will it work with the new carrier without modification (i.e. drop in)?
3. Want to replace the polymer buffer as well, but don't know if I am going to need a new buffer spring or other mod?
