View Full Version : January, 3 Gun in AZ?
I'll be working in Coolidge, AZ for the month of January and am wondering if any 3 Gun matches are being held. I believe I'm equidistant from Phoenix and Tucson.
Thanks,
Mark

There's a good listing here. (http://www.arizonashooting.com/v3/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=56561)
Thanks! Might be able to shoot that 3 Gun on the 4th Sunday in January.
Now, just need to locate some AR friendly gun shops in the PHX or Tucson area.

I know it's a little far from Coolidge, but Scottsdale Gun Club sells tons of AR gear and AR rifles. Worth taking a look at on a day off.

IIRC, there is a decent shop in Florence, which is probably the closest to you.

Check out Scott at Specialized Dynamics.
I would recommend the ACTS match in Jan. I have had fun shooting at these for the last 5-6 months (no shotgun thou). These matches are in Catalina which is very easy to get to from Coolidge, I go from Florence all the time.

I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Florence. (Should make me a better shooter. :D Do you know what weekend that would be?

Bummer. I have to fly back to San Diego for the weekend. Possibly the follwing weekend. Are there any Ranges close by?
Went to the public range in Casa Grande. It's nice, but you need your own target stands. I found a big empty bay and put together 2 pallets into an A frame and put some left over cardboard over it. I had some sticky targets and shot at them and some squar cardboard on the berm 50 yards away.
I guess you could say that it was very nice since it was free!
