New P30

I have been researching the purchase of a new poly 9MM for several months now to add to my 1911. I was not even considering any of the H&K pistols until I read Todd's test on the P30 above.
I was off last Friday and took my truck to the shop to have some service done and new tires mounted. Since I had a long wait ahead of me I walked across the street to a local gun shop. The shop carries Glock, SA XD, Sig and H&K poly pistols. I handled models from each manufacturer side by side and was quite impressed with the H&K P2000 and P30. I was amazed with the grip of the P30 since I have never found a double stack pistol that fit well in my hand. I took the P30 home with me.
I got a chance to go to the range Sunday morning and was very happy with how it handled. Here is the first 25 shots at 15 yards with some cheap Monarch 115 Gr FMJ.

i did shoot a little IPSC style event last night with my glock and did damn well. that got me off the HK's... for now anyway.
