Most people will probably never get to experience some of the more exotic weapons out there, and as a public service to those folks, so they won't have to get their information about these weapons from airsofters, I offer this post:D .
First, a little porn:

and a few videos

Getting after the Pepper Poppers:

I noticed there was a long Glock 18 thread on TOS, so I thought I'd add my .02.
Warning, strong opinions follow:
The G18 is about 99% useless as a weapon. I'm reasonably experienced and competent with a variety of small arms, and this one is just about the most pointless one I can think of. In the hands of an inexperienced user, this thing has the most potential for launching lead in unintended directions. When you combine a pistol, which most people can't shoot worth a shit anyway, with a subgun - what you get is a wildly inaccurate hazard to nearly everything and everyone in the 180 degree arc in front of a shooter. Someone on TOS said that there is a LEO running around somewhere in the South with one of these in a duty holster - and while I don't doubt it, I really hope that guy has the self control to refrain from getting busy with it in group therapy mode out on the street. I can only think of a few scenarios where I'd want one of these things, and even those are a reach at best.
That said, it's one of the most fun little pieces of shit extant for turning money into noise. It's a challenge to accurately shoot the thing in rock n' roll and hit anything at distances longer than about 7 yards - as you can see from our attempts to run the plate racks, it confers no advantage over a standard pistol . You'll scare the living shit out of your intended victims, but aside from ****ing up the real estate and making a hellacious racket, it's a hell of a lot less effective than the old reliable Front sight, press method.
Verdict? not good for much unless your objective is to have some fun.
For comparison - running the same plates with a Colt 9mm suppressed:
