We did this gun for a customer a will back it started out life as just a gun. With a lot of love we brought the gun to life. The coating is the customers chose the work on the gun is a mix of his needs and wants.

We thought that the gun would be a different culler scheme but we did what we were asked to do and we think it turned out nice.

What do you think?

As usual Mr. Smith beautiful work. It' definitely a different combo of colors than I'm used to seeing, but the overall effect is stunning. Great job!

I'm not usually a fan of the smaller 1911 platforms, but I think that could grow n me. Regardless of my preferences the work look fantastic!

Did you checker the front strap, if you did, can you do that with aluminium?

A well-sorted Officer's model is about as good as it gets. I find them to be very easy to shoot well. They are also very pleasant to carry, especially in their lightweight framed variants.

We do part of the work but not all. We do not usually suggest you checker aluminium.

Thank you for the response. Looks like I have to stick with grip tape on my SIG.

Of all the guns I have bought, sold and traded, the only one I really want back is an Officer's model that Mr. Smith did. At least I still get to see it every now and then.

Not that my opinion means much, but Mr. Smith has built me a 1911, an AR, a shotgun and an upper for my duty rifle (M16A1). All of it is good stuff.

Thank you for your kind words. Truth be told I still think of the Officers model you speak of from time to time and I miss it so much.

So without further a due hear it is more pics. The gun in the pics is of what we speak.
