Like the title says, I'm wondering when I should worry about getting new springs for a Geiselle SSA.

Also, are any standard springs compatible with the trigger system?

How many rounds do you have on your particular FCG?

I have about 4k on my SSA and i havent run into a single malfunction yet.

For the Geissele Hi-Speed trigger, the hammer spring replacement interval is 10,000 rounds, with an expected life of 12,000 rounds. Not sure if this applies to the SSA too, but 10,000 rounds is a more than reasonable life. The manual states that it is the same as the life of a standard AR hammer spring.

The disconnector spring is rated for 50,000 rounds, and the trigger spring has no life limit. Again, may not apply to the SSA, but it sounds reasonable.

I have both an SSA and a Hi-Speed and the SSA is a great deal for the price.
