after a trip to the range with my AR with mounted ACOG I noticed there is now something on the inside of my ACOG near the middle of the scope. It looks like a black chunk of dirt or something inside the optic. How do I clean the inside of my ACOG scope?

If something is loose inside your ACOG, send it back to Trijicon. They have excellent service and pretty quick turnaround.

Don't try to take it apart.

Don't even mess with it, send it back to Trijicon.

If it's mud/dirt the integrity of the scope was compromised.

Thirded.

If you open it, you lose the nitrogen purge on the inside (if there's any left, given that particulates infiltrated), in addition to certainly voiding any warranty you may have.

Everyody loves to think that it's just air on the inside, but it's most emphatically NOT, and you're as likely to be able to re-purge that optic as I am of being elected Pope. Contact Trijicon.
