Are you considering getting one?

I am. I have a 14 1/2in brl that I'm looking to do something different with and this may qualify as being that. You?

Ya, been kickin the idea around. The thing that attracted me to them is the fact that you can install the kit yourself without any mods to the weapon. You can also reverse it and put it back to stock in a short time.

Ya, mines more of a want than a need.

We shall see. Nothing wrong with a DI weapon. My HD weapon is a piston and my duty gun is a Colt. Both are good carbines for sure. I clean my firearms after every outing and to be truthful it takes about the same amount of time to clean one as it does the other so the whole "pistons are easier to clean" claim really doesn't hold water--at least for me. Like you said the fact that this kit can mount and/or dismount with little drama may be nice. Again, we shall see.
