DDXV, come with sling mount?

i just ordered the ddxv upper and dont see a mention of the sling mount and i dont really see one. they also sell the sling mounts.

does anyone know if it comes with one?

I got mine yesterday and it does not come with a sling mount. I also havent seen any pics of one with them either so i say no. :)

Nope, it doesn't come with one. The upper was originally designed for the DDM4 lower receiver, which has a DD QD swivel attach point on it. You can always add one if you'd like.

If you want a side sling adapter for the barrel like is on the Colt or a Stag, don't buy the ProMag one since I've read that it's a loose fit. Rock River Arms apparently sells a much better one here for $27.

If you want one that mounts to the bottom of the FSP, you can buy it from Bravo Company USA here for $3.50.

thanks for the info..don't know allot about the single point sling setup. what would you need for something like that?
