View Full Version : SIG P226 or HK USP9 – which one would you rather have in combat?
If you were going to a gun-fight which one of these two would you rather like to have with you and why: HK USP9 or SIG P226? Both in 9mm of course. :D

Having fired both, SIG hands down. My friend's USP9 is almost unshootable due to its gargantuan proportions.
If I had a third choice it would be S&W Military & Police over both of those two.
Well, I shoot my P226's very well and they are reliable. But I do love my USP 45's and I shoot those well too. However I do NOT have a USP 9mm, and I've only fired 10 rounds out of one.
Since I am in California and 10 rounds is the limit for me. I'll take the P226. At least I won't have to wait 10 days to get my gun.
But in all honesty, I think either or gun will do.

Glock 17. But between the two choices USP.
Definitely USP. I shoot my USP better than my 226.

My preference would be for a Sig P226. However, either pistol would work just fine in combat and would be equally effective.

SIG if I could get replacement parts. HK if not.
It's a toss-up in terms of durability and reliability. What it would boil down to is your personal preference. I'm partial to Sigs myself.
Having both been issued SIGs and HKs and owning both SIGs and HKs I'll take a USPc for combat, thank you very much.

Although I like both, I feel like the HK would be more durable over the long haul.

If I was going to a gunfight I would bring a rifle and many friends with rifles.
If I ended up in a gunfight without looking for one, what I pull will most likely be an M&P9.
Enough of these kind of threads please.
