View Full Version : Glock Muzzel device
Anybody know where I can find one instock, Brownells does not have any in. How do I describe it... its square part that keeps the slide from being pushed out of battery.

Found one here (http://www.masterblastersbullets.com/page2.html) using Google.
Thanks Robb, as a Glock armorer, whats your opinion of the device?

It's probably won't hurt anything. If using one make sure you have newer mags or are upgrade your mags with new springs from Glock (they have 1 more coil). Glock had to upgrade their mag springs a while back. This was do to higher slide velocities from using heavy Surefire handgun lights. The slide velocity increased so much that the pistols wouldn't pick up the next round in the mag. The slide velocity increase is because of less frame flex. Not usually an issue with aluminum or steel framed guns.
I probably wouldn't use one, I have no need.
Robb, I got my 22 last week, I believe the prefix is KTV, would the mags that came with it have the upgraded springs?
Given the extreme holster limitations this will place on you, are the benefits for you going to outweigh this?
I myself wouldnt want to learn to "depend" on this device if it wasnt on ALL of my handguns.
Also interested in Glock Mag info for the lights and stuff.
Isn't the number stamp on the follow part of if? Or would I have to open the mags and inspect the springs?
We experimented with them a while back on 1911's, found them to be of minimal benefit, and moved on...

Your mags should not be an issue

You can proabaly use a G35 holster or one for a G24

If you are not sure, pop them apart and count the coils, 10 = older, 11 = newer
Thanks Robb and everyone else who responded! :D
