I am very happy using these gloves vs. the "better" options on the market and consider them a wear item, so this isn't about making suggestions as to alternatives.

I'm wondering if anyone else that uses these has a go-to source that you know has good prices, stock, service, selection of sizes, and shipping. I wore through my primary pair and am on to my secondary and need to restock.

You talking about the Nomex flight gloves?

Look here:

yep, that's them. First link didn't have tan but the second does at $23/pair which looks pretty good. Found one link at $15/pair but of course they didn't have the 9/medium.

$14.97 I use these too. Good, cheap gloves and they fit well. Can't beat the price.

Do you all trim those down?

The cuff? I don't. I just fold them "in" and put a small stitch in three places. Basically hem them to the inside.

The Exchange just made an aisle with a bunch of tactical goodies, try there if you are able?

Generally $20/pr at local gun shows. They work pretty well for a lot of things. Lousy when wet. Take long time to dry. Other than that . . .

I roll mine over the outside. Eventually they kind of take a set and stay that way.

Sir Plus has them for $16 a pair. I like the OD/blk CVC crewmen gloves for winter use...a tad thicker than the std Aviators gloves...seem to wear better as well. If they don't have your size listed, call and they will get them.

just a note to anyone else following, this is what I wound up ordering and they are SHIT. Just got them in today, and they are total garbage.

Pulled out the gloves I have that I've been using and they are all Protech's "Ultimate Fit Glove" and are worlds above the Pakistani garbage that is sitting on my table right now.

doing a Google search for "Protech ultimate fit glove" is getting me nowhere, so if anyone has any tips on that make and model....

Rob,

Not exactly traditional "flight gloves" but a really good deal that might be worth a look.

yeah, that's the only hit I got too. No way to order online, but I got in touch with them and they're going to send me out two pairs.

That does look like a good deal. Any idea how the sizes for these gloves compare to Mechanix gloves? The medium Mechanix fit me, well, like a glove. Thanks.

Sorry Rob.. I've never worn these. I was on the LAPoliceGear site looking for something else and saw these. I thought that you might be interested, given the price.
