I have recently been selected for the SRT team, and was issued an old, non modular vest, with the promise a new one would be inbound. Well, the City has decided they are broke, so no new vest for me.

I have decided to get a carrier for the panels in that vest, if possible. Here is what I have to work with...

Tac Tailor's universal carrier will not work, its too narrow.

A BCS would probably work; a Mayflower might as well.

when i first glanced at the pics, i thought "jeez - i'd switch out my carrier too if it came in that ghastly green with polka dots..."

I had the same problem a while back. My original solution was to trace my panels and send them to Tactical Tailor. For about $150 to $200 they were going to make a molle carrier to fit my panels. They sent me some pics of prior custom carriers them made and gave me some options and also allowed me to make changes to what they had previously done to fit my needs.

Right around that time they came out with the HEV which fit my panels and I went with that. I know that won't fit the dimensions of your panels, but I'm sure they could make something custom that would work for you

Looks like BALCS cut armor. If so, any BALCS cut carrier should be able to work ... IE CIRAS, LVAC, RBAV, ETC

It's not BALCs....at least not a standard size. See attached file for BALCS panel sizes.
