Pre-ban vs. New Colt 6920 question? [Archive]

This may have posted here before but I didn't come up with anything on it. This may also seem to be a dumb question but I was wondering if there is any functional difference between a pre-ban colt and the newer 6920's on the market now. Thanks for any input. I'm in the learning mode.

No, there isn't. The new Colt 6920's are much more standardized now then the older preban Colts.

The only real reason to choose an older preban is if you live in a state that doesn't allow you to own a new 6920, or for nostalgia purposes.
