Got my Christmas gift early from my bud Alaskacop556. Its a Saiga 12. I have to convert it over to a pistol grip configuration. I also plan on setting it up with a compensator, RDS, and a push button mag system.

I will do my best. I plan to get help for the conversion from a friend of mine with a drill press and some mechanical know how.

I really like the idea of a box fed shotgun. It is starting to rule three gun in the open division. But I have to do a lot of mods to it. But your right I am starting to like AK's more than I used to. It just took the right guns.

If you really like something, you need at least two. I have two Saiga 12s, both restored by Will at RedStick. It takes a bit of adjustment going from a traditional tube fed gun to a Saiga. Once you get the hang of it, look out. I haven't used my other shotguns since I shot the Saiga. Enjoy your new blaster, I'm sure you'll love it.
