This will be my first AR. Will be using it for target, home defense and coyotes (200yds max). After probably too much reading :) I've narrowed it down to these three.....DD-XV, BCM middy, or M&P 15 MOE. Any help narrowing it down to "the" one would be appreciated ! Thanks !

While the DD and S&W are great guns for the money, I'd choose the BCM.

can't comment on the other 2, but I love the BCM middy.

any one of those will suit your purposes fine. i would get the BCM mid. above all though. DD would be a close 2nd.

Get the Smith! ....and cash in on the free 5 PMAGS that come with it if bought before December 31st. Great mid to upper level gun and should suit your needs.

This is sound advice. Everyone knows my preference for BCM but the other two are good choices as well.

I think the BCM with stainless barrel would suit your needs well. They also come in ionbond finish now if you dont like the shiny stainless look.

Thanks for the replies guys ! The free mags with the S&W and owning a M&P9c already had me thinking that way and the DD-XV for $949 at Peach State Guns had me pulled a little that way but the BCM is what I've been leaning towards from the start.

Agreed. BCM build their rifles to the TDP. Go with the middy.
