How'd you do? Looks like it buggered up a lot of holiday plans.

Already had over 60 inches on the ground. Came home to another 12-15 inches. The usual.

As fast as the 23.2" inches of snow fell it melted off completely in less then five days. Kids got one good day of sledding in and the snow blower got a work out.

At least I got to burn some holiday food off shoveling.

I was working, I was the night shift watch commander here that night, my troops and I were VERY busy.

I firmly believe that half the motoring public shouldn't be allowed to drive. I'll bet I personally un-stuck 20-30 cars on Christmas Eve night.

The number of folks who can't drive, run bald tires in the snow, drive into snow drifts greater than hood deep, drive vehicles completely unsuited to the snow yet insist on driving anyway, wear inappropriate clothing for the weather, have zero survival skills, have no back-up plan, have no gear, or have no way at all to recover a stuck vehicle (often all the above at the same time) is simply astounding.
