I don't know the thread specs, but can I ask why? Seems like you're a lot more likely to have/find an object(knife/coin) that can be used as a flathead screwdriver than finding the correct Allen wrench.

Email me on Monday to confirm at dlutz@knightarmco.com, but I believe they are 10-32.
However, an "out of the hardware store box" button head Allen will be a bit too long and require shortning unless you can live with the "snag," which may present a re-finish issue for you. I recommend a stainless steel screw if you have the means to black oxide it.
That being said, our (KAC) standard slotted screw for all these type rail-grabbing accessories is specifically engineered for this purpose; as well as being dry-film lubed for extended corrosion protection. The slot is disigned wide enough for many coins to be used as a screw-turner as well.
Also, its a lot easier to toothbrush-out mud and sand from a slot than an Allen socket. Such design criteria are examples of practical "Saturday Morning Rifle Inspection prior to Liberty Call" experiences that some former Grunts here bring to the table with our product designs.
