For the price, you can't really go wrong w/ the Magpul MBUS buis, they're usually available new from $85-95 shipped.

People also really like the Troy BUIS which are a bit pricier, they go about $240-260 for the pair. I have a friend that has a set of MI folding sites and he seems to like it for the price.

Daniel Defense also has a set of buis which I haven't read too much about and Larue has their rear buis LT-103 which some people have raved about.

Just a suggestion but I would use that money for a rail and put it towards a RDS. More important IMO than a rail.

Yeah... I've been looking at the aimpoint micro h-1. The guy that's been helping me along with my ar has one. It's probably one of the nicest red dots I've looked through. My only thing is- I'm pretty new to owning a nice ar and thought I should learn the irons before getting spoiled on an rds. Not sure. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
