Is it the year "two thousand ten" or "twenty ten?"
To me, "two thousand ten" sounds right, but then again, nobody pronounces the year 1910 "one thousand nine hundred ten."
Shouldn't it be 20 - 10 much like how we said 19 - 99?

To me it doesn't matter how it's said. YMMV.

doesn't matter to me either, I'm just curious as what the norm may be.
We've become acustomed because how would you say 2000 other than two thousand? I'll still say two thousand ten.

Was I the only person who thought that it was the most retarded thing ever for this topic to be on the news today?
How about "aught-10"?
That's what I'm thinking..I remember having this discussion with my buddies ten years ago at the turn of the century....I think then we came up with twenty double-aught....we were also hung-over too...
both but 20-10 more informally and 2000-10 more formally

two thousand nine. Until at least April. Happens every year.
Likewise on the 2 checks I have to write every month.
But once I get my mind right, it'll be twenty-ten.
Apparently there is a website specifically geared to lobbying for 20-10 usage... it was a slow day for news... twenty ten for me already...

Depends on who I am talking to.
Certain individuals might require me to dumb it down by saying: "two-zero-one-zero"". :p
Probably Twenty-Ten.
This 21st Century is rather awkward. I'm looking forward to the 22nd.

"O"10
I'm a Two Thousand Ten kind of guy.
Twenty-Ten does not sound as natural (In my mind's eye).
Oh-10 (Or 010) sounds "queer as a man in a dress" to my mind's eye!
Everyone has thier own way I suppose, but it's good too know that only my way is the right way..>!!! LOL!:p

Your mind's eye can hear, too? Whoa!
All I know is, if a particular guy in the office uses the phrase "too kay ten" again, he's getting kicked in the wedding tackle.
Hard.
With the toe, not the instep.
For some reason my mind keeps telling me 'twenty ten' in English is the most natural.
In my own language I say two thousand and ten though. Twenty ten would sound patently ridiculous in my language.
Maybe it should be pronounced as follows....the year we kick out those idiots in congress! Hopefully the next batch will be better.
