I installed an ACE SOCOM stock on one of my AR's a while back. While shooting the other day I noticed a very slight wobble in the stock at the point where the buffer tube threads into the receiver.
If I loosten the collar the secures the stock, and screw stock in another 1/4 turn, then it's tight and no wobble.
But then the stock is crooked ...
Am I missing something obvious here? I HATE things that wobble with a passion ( a reason to love the CTR stock on my other AR) but I do like the SOCOM stock, too. But I'd like to secure the buffer tube.
Any ideas? Thanks.
