Vltor and Magpul

I have used that combo before without any problems.

I have installed several Magpul CTR and ACS stocks on VLTOR tubes with no issues.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them. I purchased a Vltor rec. extension and a Magpul MOE buttstock. After assembling, I started to put the MOE onto the Vltor rec. extension and it would not go on. Both are Mil-spec.

I then put a standard mil-spec M4 buttstock on the Vltor rec. ext. and had no problems. The MOE worked fine on a different rec. ext.

This is not so much an issue with me as I have made use of both items on different rifles, but just curious. Anyone?

Did you measure things to see who was out of spec?
