Why does the screen indicate an unread message after you read it?

I will read one, go to another site, move to another thread section here, doesn't matter.

I just read the same message 4 times and it still shows up as described?

Well, if you keep hitting the 'back' button on your mouse or the browser, you might need to refresh the main page before it no longer shows new messages.

It may depend on how you surf. I generally open one window of the main forum page, and then open up tabs of the sub-forums and posts I want to read, so if I read a message, the main post will still show messages unread, even though they really are. Follow me? lol
