m4 flip covers

has anyone got flip covers on their m4,i e-mailed aimpoint and they said the covers would not fit on the back because of the on off switch,need help,the cover that comes on the m4 sucks.:confused:

How much space is there between the ON-OFF sw and the rear of the optic? It might need to be trimmed down length wise, but would a Butler Creek cap work?

I have them on mine and they don't block anything if the hinges are placed at the 6 O'clock position.
