A friend of mine wants me to build up an AR15 for his son. He already has a complete lower receiver with a collapsable butt stock and a 20" lightweight A1 style barrel.
My question is, is it safe to run a 20" barrel with a M4 style collapsable butt stock (shorter spring and lighter buffer)? I wasn't sure if it would beat the butt stock up.
Unfortunately, he is insistent on using these components right now. Would running an H buffer or an H2 help neutralize the issue?
I would appreciate any input.
