The 2010 Steel City Carbine Campionship will be held at Brock's Gap Training Center (Steel City Range) in Birmingham, AL on May 29th & 30th.

The match is a one day format, you can choose the day you want to shoot. Pre-registered competitors only. It is a trophy match with sponsor donated prizes awarded each day by random drawing.

Is it for range members only?

No, anyone can shoot, provided you're proficient with the operation of your carbine - this match isn't a good place to learn how to operate it.

You certainly don't need to be a seasoned competitor to enjoy the match, all competitive levels of shooters will be there. The stages are designed to be fun while challenging your ability to successfully engage targets from up close out to 250yds or so (10" steel flash targets). There will be pictures of the past matches posted on the website soon to give you an idea of what to expect.

Registration is on a first come first served basis. The match filled up several weeks out the previous 2 years, so if you think you might want to shoot, don't wait too long to send in your applciation.
