First off, I was never a big fan of murses or fanny packs and such. Until I saw a customer with his Maxpedition Versipack. I really liked it to the point where I ordered one for my Range bag. I know a lot of people like big range bags and such but the range I go to you must purchase ammo there, so I don't have a need to carry ammo there. The EDC was perfect for my eyepro, earpro, ShootNc's, pens, a little boo boo kit, drink, and such...I don't plan on carrying this around town except to the range....:cool: This has replaced my oversized Eagle Industries A III pack I have used as a range bag.

Thanks for the post! I've been looking at one of those for a while now, it's nice to hear some feedback on the things.

I thought it would make a great range bag for IDPA matches where I have to haul gear around and it would allow me to keep my rig nice and tight.

Yeah I am very pleased with the size. When I first opened the package I was a little bummed that it was smaller than I expected. But after loading up all the stuff I take to the range it works out.

Do you have the right-hand or the left-hand carry version?

Right handed if I'm not mistaken. I like to carry it on my left side though, makes the water bottle easily accessible.

I do the same with my Jumbo versipack.

I have some I use as a truck bag. I like the new colors that will blend in more I think and look alot less tacticool.

is yours OD or foliage I only ask one of mine is OD and its alot diff color tone

Mines Khaki, the light I used in my room might have thrown off the color.
