I've noticed this table posted in another thread that discusses barrel length issues. What caught my eye is about 70 yards of reported additional fragmentation distance with T2. I've looked at Hornady's website, and reported velocities appear within 50 fps for 75 gr. projectiles. Can anybody validate the date below?

I agree, he is a very valuable contributor. I take it that, at a minimum, you believe that fragmentation distance difference could be true. I find it fascinating that +50 fps and different bullet construction ( is it different?) will yield that much difference. Absent open-source OIS data, this makes a compelling theoretical case for T2 superiority, doesn't it?

I've heard that manufacturers list the velocity of .223 loads based off of a 20"+ barrel(22"?24"?)?...and that 5.56 loads are based on a 14.5" barrel?
