Looking for some feedback on the above round out of a 642 or LCR snub. I know its new, it isn't DPX or GD SB 135 +p and it isn't mentioned in any of Docs stickys.

My primary load is the GD short bbl and am thinking of putting the PDX in speed strip for carry.

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Until more info is out, I wouldn't recommend carrying it over something that's known.

Sage advice.

The Winchester 130 gr bonded +P JHP (RA38B) is a recommended load, but that recommendation comes from someone who is "just a dentist" on another forum, Dr. Gary K. Roberts.

I've seen a few failures to expand with this load, but overall I think it is pretty good, with a bit less recoil to me than the Speer Gold Dot 135 gr +P JHP. Personally I feel 99% of folks are best served carrying 148 gr wadcutters in a snub, me included. Unless you are REALLY doing some serious training with your snubby, the recoil of these +P loadings make hitting anything very difficult. YMMV. I load up with Black Hills wadcutters and carry Cor-Bon DPX in a Speed Strip.
