Anyone had a chance to use the Flashlight Grip Adapter (http://www.commandarms.com/product.asp?pID=225&cID=12) yet. I've been trying to search it for 5 min and for whatever reason it won't let me. I dont think the search function likes my mac computer.

I had one on my AR, didn't like it and took it off. The only way to turn the light on is with a clinched fist grip to hit the button the pushes the momentary switch tail cap. I went with a side mounted ring setup and put the light at around 11 o'clock and a TangoDown stubby fore grip. I like it much better set up this way.

I would advise not using the CAA FGA for serious work. I barely used one and ended up screwing the bolt all the way though the threads trying to tighten the flashlight into position. When it did "work" after firing a few rounds (less than 10 probably) the flashlight would work its way out and become inoperable. Quality is subpar. I was just using it as a range toy and it still didn't perform well enough to meet those much less demanding standards. It's cheap and looks pretty good but I am afraid that's it. I was using a CAA flashlight also. It was cheap and has turned out to be a good handheld but that is it. I wouldn't mount it on a weapon either.

Thanks guys, I ended up going with the new Safariland RK-M4 (http://streichers.com/ProductDetail.aspx?Catalog=Weapons&Category=RAIL_COVER&Prod=SF-RK.M4) and the Safariland RLS light (http://streichers.com/ProductDetail.aspx?Catalog=Weapons&Category=HAND_LIGHT&Prod=SF-RLS) I'll see how it runs.
